Suggested Guidelines for Portrayals

In an effort to help our group have the most accurate portrayal possible, we are posting a set of guidelines to help identify the basic material goods that are necessary or desirable for a portrayal of a member of the Southern Indian Department.

This is not meant to be an exhaustive study of the clothing, accoutrement, and material goods of these groups in the 18th century, but a guide to get started and fit in with the group.  If you have contributions to make, please feel free to email them to the webmaster for consideration.

Before you begin, you might want to read "Getting started in Reenacting", an article that gives some pointers on planning your persona and making decisions about the things you'll need.
