Settlers heading out to work in their fields
Indian Raid!
The Settlers are quickly overrun...
and subdued.
Into Captivity!
The local militia arrives but are too late
The captives are taken to the native encampment
The woman and children are terrified
Talk about great acting!
The man shows no respect for his captors and they close in....
to teach him a captive's place.
Perhaps next time he will remember to keep quiet!
An Indian Trader from North Carolina bargains for the release of the captives.
Apparently not everyone is afraid of the Indians though.
